Recent results achieved by the MORFEO project in the analysis of ground deformation caused by the 6 April 2009 earthquake in the Abruzzo Region, central Italy are on the main web pages of the Italian Department for Civil Protection (www.protezionecivile.it) and of the Italian Space Agency (www.asi.it). Our group coordinates the scientific activities carried out within the MORFEO project, of the Italian Space Agency.
On 29 October 2012, Fausto Guzzetti, Alessandro Mondini, and Mauro Rossi visited the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, at the University of Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan, following an invitation of Prof. Hiroshi Fukuoka.
We have contributed to the ICL Landslide Teaching Tools, edited by Kyoji Sassa, Bin He, Mauri McSaveney, Osamu Nagai, and published by ICL & UNESCO [ISBN: 978-4-9903382-2-0].
On 7 December 2012, we were invited to give talks to the National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction, Taiwan.
